Progress….
Here I’ve started on the Rapido boxcar. So far I’ve applied acrylic paint to dirty up the car a bit, applied several mediums to the doors then took most back off leaving this effect, and applied a dirt colored powder down the sides. New project….
Onward to the next project. This one is an MDC gondola that started out bright yellow lettered for Illinois Terminal. This car already has three different weathering mediums applied, plus I’ve changed out the trucks and wheels, replacing the wheels with Intermountain semi scale wheels. Although I posted this on the layout website, I thought I’d share this here on The Weathering Depot site as well. Yesterday I was able to purchase two beautiful photo backdrops made by Realistic Backgrounds.
