I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. Speaking of the recent Rocky Mountain Train Show here in Denver, I was fortunate enough to pick up a few nicely weathered cars from several dealers. These are shown below. The ex-St Lawrence Railroad boxcar is I think a nicely done car patched for ICG, while the gondolas came with nicely done scrap loads:
