The Weathering Depot

I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. Please check out my work here on my page. My price varies as to how much weathering is requested. I will also for an extra labor and parts charge change out couplers and wheels. My fees and hours are on the "contact me" tab.

Look who I ran into….!

While at the recent train show I visited the booth of The Colorado Model Railroad Museum, located in Greeley, Colorado. This museum is a must see if you’re ever in Colorado! Inside among other things railroad is a 5,000+ square foot model railroad plus the last wood side caboose used in Colorado. I myself have been a volunteer here in the past with about 780 hours accumulated.

At the show I ran into the Executive Director in front of their booth, Michelle Kempema and had the following photo below taken. Good to see her again, and soon plan to head to the museum once again!
