Continue reading →: Another project finished…
While off this week I was able to finish another model to go up on my eBay store. This car as you can see is an HO scale Walther’s Mainline series 50’ ACF Railbox car. Photo below shows it new in box: The car actually took two weeks to complete.…

I didn’t like the sudden transition to the Arizona Rock & Mineral limestone ballast on the module, so I spent the morning painting over it to try to match their yard mix ballast on the rest of the modules, then weathered a bit of it per a video I came…

I’m currently on the last car for this current friend/client, a local modeler who models current day operations in California. This CSX hopper started out as shown below and was asked to be heavily weathered but with all the lettering and numbers visible. To do this I’ve simply taped it…

Just in is this Tangent PRR X58 class 50’ boxcar repainted to PC in 1973. A rare catch of a beautifully detailed model which will join the fleet. This car will receive minimal weathering to represent a newer car. You have to have one fairly clean car on the layout…!

Continue reading →: Another project finished….
I’m posting this morning another project finished for a local modeler/client. This is one of three HO scale cars to weather in between working on more HOn3 cars. This car was picked up at a recent operating session. This Railbox car is a “primed for grime” series car and looked…

Well, actually not Johnny but myself in my first video on my two module layout. These are in three parts, so here’s part one and away we go!

Continue reading →: Another project finished…
Another project car for my fleet is now finished. This is a Walther’s Mainline series car purchased at the last train show here in my area. I wanted to weather this but this time only lightly, enough to show some road dirt and some use but not overly done. I…

Continue reading →: Project finished, and next up….
The B&O gondola I posted about last time is now finished, and another B&O gondola was reworked as well and is now finished to join the fleet. Here is the first gondola below: Next up I took the B&O Railgon gondola and added a lot more rust and weathering to…
