I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. One of the most recent projects was this Walthers Mainline series N&W reefer. This was faded using Vallejo blue grey plus a touch of white acrylic, then going back over the lettering. Rust texture and some weathering powder was also used to finish up:
