The Weathering Depot

Here I am back to work on the railroad after my test was up, this time on first trick. With thermos in hand our crew heads over to 8806 to start our day.

Today’s crew is Charlie, myself, and Jimmy, plus Dan as we fire up 8806. Today we’re pulling empties from Armitage Furniture, Stephen’s Grocery distributors, and the team track, while spotting inbound cars there, plus a tank car full of gasoline at McGraw, all the while the local’s crew will spot another gondola at Sullivan scrap.

Today’s work I’ve captured on black and white film as that’s all the rolls I had on hand currently, so hope you enjoy these below!

In the above photo we tie onto the Southern reefer headed to Stephen’s. Next series we’re pulling the empties and spotting the reefer:

Next up we tie onto the Gulf tank car, spot it at McGraw, then couple up to the ICG boxcar headed for Armitage Furniture:

Next bit of work is coupling up to the last inbound car, the HLMX boxcar headed for the team track dock and spot it:

Finally, we pull all the outbound cars and shove these up to the local’s crew to couple up so they can head back to the yard:

In the last photo above we’re done for now as we spot 8806 back on the team track siding and shut her down. Another day’s work done!
