The Weathering Depot

I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. Please check out my work here on my page. My price varies as to how much weathering is requested. I will also for an extra labor and parts charge change out couplers and wheels. Another work day on the railroad….

Well, we’re back at work this time on first trick again working a few cars out of Riverside yard. Our crew today is Fred as engineer, myself as brakeman, Jimmy the conductor, and Dan as flagman.

After firing up 8806 we’re going to pull off the tank car of fuel oil and spot it in McGraw’s siding. We’re leaving the Gulf tank car as they haven’t completely unloaded it yet. I guess we’ll get it next trip!

Next, we’re going to pull that EEC boxcar and spot it in the off spot position on the team track, which we’ll also spot to the dock next trip.

Finally, we’re going to pull that Cotton Belt boxcar and spot it at Armitage Furniture:

Finished with this round of work, we spot the locomotive over in Monsanto and head for lunch…..
