I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. The B&O gondola I posted about last time is now finished, and another B&O gondola was reworked as well and is now finished to join the fleet.

Next up I took the B&O Railgon gondola and added a lot more rust and weathering to it using several mediums to try to simulate the prototype car below. A bit heavier on the rust, but close I think:
Fortunately this car had already been dented up slightly to look more realistic!
