I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. Coming soon from an outfit at http://www.Coastmans.com is a bag of realistic rusted scrap, that I’ll use for my scrapyard. Apparently this is actual scrap from the gentleman who runs the shop’s 3D printer. When it arrives Monday the 13th I’ll be changing up the scrapyard a bit to accommodate this more realistic scrap pile. Below is a photo from his website:
