I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. Please check out my work here on my page. My price varies as to how much weathering is requested. I will also for an extra labor and parts charge change out couplers and wheels. My fees and hours are on the "contact me" tab.
New locomotive joins the fleet…
To use with the B&O caboose, I recently purchased this Walther’s Proto B&O SW switcher on eBay, which is supposed to be already programmed with DCC and sound. As the layout isn’t wired yet, I’ve yet to test this guy, but hopefully it’s fine. I’ve lightly weathered this one , but a bit hard to tell in this photo below. This is my second locomotive I’ll use to simulate an interchange between the two railroads.
Welcome to my site! I’ve been a model railroader since the age of 14, and a railfan all my life! I’m retired now but have traveled all over on both Amtrak and tourist railroads plus steam excursions. My layouts have been published twice, and I started weathering work in 2009. I have also worked for a regional railroad in the past as first a brakeman/conductor then track inspector. Hope you enjoy the journey with me on my website!
