I’ve just completed another project, this one an Athearn Genesis “primed for grime” Golden West Service boxcar. This guy took about a week to complete.
The car has the usual underside weathering plus several layers of weathering on the sides and ends. I used washes, powders, acrylic paint, and rust texture on this model. Photos below:
