I’ve changed the name of the layout to the Penn Central in Cincinnati to better describe the area modeled, which is an industrial area along the Ohio River west of downtown Cincinnati….

One of the most recent projects was this Walthers Mainline series N&W reefer. This was faded using Vallejo blue grey plus a touch of white acrylic, then going back over the lettering. Rust texture and some weathering powder was also used to finish up:

Currently underway is work on five models including the first one, which is this Atlas Trainman series bulkhead flat. Almost finished, this car has acrylic paints, brown wash, rust texture, and five colors of pigments, four alone on the deck. Next up is probably one of two autoracks ….

This Walther’s car is now finished and in service on the layout. It was finished with black grey and brown acrylics plus Monroe Models black soot powder finished with engine oil by MiG ammo for the spillage around the dome:

The Tangent PRR car is now finished and in service on the layout! This guy was completed with four colors of acrylic paint, Pan pastels, two colors of pigments and Vallejo rust texture. Photos below of the finished product:
