Today the local out of Riverside has brought out two inbound cars that will need to be spotted, plus there are four outbound cars that need to go out with the local.
This trip it’s Fred as engineer, myself as brakeman, and Dan as we fire up 8806. The first moves are from the local crew as they back into Sullivan scrap to pull two gons, then spot them on the main. They next spot the Chessie gon in Sullivan, and also drop the bulkhead flat temporarily:

The local’s crew then picks up the two outbound gons and pulls the bulkhead flat out onto the main for us, then clears up down the main past the switch to McGraw:

We then pull out onto the main, couple up to the flat and spot it at Armitage Furniture:

Next, we head back up the main into the siding at McGraw and pull two empty tank cars out, then shove these up to the local’s cars:

Finally, our work is done for now as we pull into the team track siding and tie down. I think we’re going to head for some lunch at the diner!

So, the new addition to the layout is this handmade wrapped lumber load off of eBay, which was specifically made to fit my Walther’s bulkhead flat:
