I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. Here are the first of eight BNSF hoppers I have to work on. These first four are lightly weathered as requested, while the second four will have medium or moderate weathering plus graffiti on those four. It’s possible to tell on these first four the undersides are a bit grimy with different colors used:
