The Weathering Depot

I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. Please check out my work here on my page. My price varies as to how much weathering is requested. I will also for an extra labor and parts charge change out couplers and wheels. My fees and hours are on the "contact me" tab.

Under construction….

The website is a bit under construction,  or reconstruction I should say. I decided to obviously change the theme and layout of the website plus update a few things.

In the new website you’ll see a new page tab titled “My Work” which will showcase a lot of my weathering. The “layout and more” page will now cover the construction of my layout plus stories and history of the area I’m modeling.

The “About Me” and contact pages remain the same. I’ve taken off the calendar as I really didn’t have much to post on it. I still have to update my social media accounts, which should be completed today. I hope everyone enjoys the new look!

Welcome to my site! I’ve been a model railroader since the age of 14, and a railfan all my life! I’m retired now but have traveled all over on both Amtrak and tourist railroads plus steam excursions.
