I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. This guy is now finished and on my eBay store! This car was completed using two different rust textures, washes, three colors of acrylic paint, and pigments. All told this car took about a week to complete. Below are photos of the finished car, plus the next project up, this Moloco Wabash boxcar which I hope to replicate the prototype car shown.
