I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. Here is my next project started on and actually almost finished! This one is a Rapido car acquired recently. The car has multiple weathering mediums applied to give a caked on grimy appearance. The underside alone has three colors of acrylic paint plus pigment added. I just have to finish adding reflective strips to one side and seal, then it’s ready for eBay….
