I have been weathering mainly HO Scale model trains since 2009 for fellow modelers and family. I specialize in freight cars, especially rust buckets. I do anything from light to heavy weathering using a variety of different mediums, sometimes three or four on a single car. I take care with models, therefore a model may take me a week plus. Sometimes you find a great catch online somewhere, in this case on eBay. Found this car for s great price and won the bid for this guy. I didn’t quite like the whitish appearance though it had streaked down the sides from the rusted top, so I addressed this with some rust powder. I also painted the couplers a rust color and painted the wheels. Here’s the finished look ready to go on my module to keep:
